Bury in Bloom

Huge congratulations to Olivia Crossland who was the overall winner for the Bury in Bloom Poster Competition. The poster represented the transformation of dull, built up, concrete areas of Bury into bright, colourful areas filled with blooming flowers and wildlife. This year there were over 350 entries and the standard was extremely high. The certificates were presented by the Mayor, Councillor Jane Black, at an awards ceremony in the town hall after which the Mayor invited us to join her for afternoon tea in celebration. We are very proud of Olivia’s achievement, well done.
